• The 8 series is bluetooth and the 8 series motion rate is 240 as the 7 series is motion rate 120. The higher the motion rate the less likely you are to see any blur in action movies and sports or fast moving video games.

• Quality of picture. I have both an 8 and 7 series and the only difference is that the 8 series has a little better quality picture than 7 series. I would go with 8 series personally
