It depend on preference, but our TV sits about 14' from where we sit and that allows the viewer to see the whole screen without having to turn head as if on the front row of a theater. Compared to older DLP it is much brighter, but this is an adjustable setting and should be altered to suit the environment in which the TV is used most. I.e. Cave watching(dark room) requires much less light output than an illuminated room with windows. As far as radiation goes I couldn't guess at a calculable amount, but LED tvs produce less than older CRT types. Likely more from cell phone held up to ear all the time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The distance from the tv will vary depending on your viewing preferences. Radiation from lcd/led tvs is the same and negligible regardless of size. My couch is about 10-12 feet from my 75” Qled. I like that distance because the tv fills my view. Best advice I can give is to go in store, find the tv you like, and spend some time watching it at different distances to find what’s most comfortable for your eyes. At the price point you don’t want to get tired of watching your new tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My gaming chair is about 11 feet away and until I got used to the tv it was a little too much. Any closer than about 10 feet would be too close, 15 to me is ideal which is where our movie chairs are located. If you upgrade to 75 you won’t be disappointed, it will take a couple of days getting used to that big of a screen. Hope this helps.
