From every to ing I’ve read, including from alleged Samsung technicians, you shouldn’t have to do a manual pixel refresh because the television performs this function every 1,000 viewing hours. Apparently pixel refresh helps to age The TV and it doesn’t improve the picture quality all that much. But the biggest reason for avoiding manual refresh is because the TV has a limited lifespan and pixel refresh actually prematurely ages the TV. I’m not sold on this 100% but it seems to make sense. I’ve had my TV for a month with moderate daily usage and I haven’t refreshed it manually. It still looks phenomenal.
