A:Answer I have owned several of both. However in all of my homes and in my offices I now only own Samsung. I have never had a single issue with Samsung except when the delivery company damaged in shipping. I currently own 18 Samsung TV sets and size ranging from 42 inch to 82 inch, 6 series through Q9F QLED. In the past when I owned flat screen Vizio TV's I have had issues ranging from taking 5 minutes before you could hear any sound, static lines, burnt pixels, failure on only corners of screen blacked out, complete screen failure but could still hear audio and no audio at all but screen worked. Most of the issues I had with Vizios surprisingly started 1 month to 6 months after warranty expired. I am generally not someone who would say paying extra would matter but in this case Samsung is by far the best buy for quality and for hassle free.
