• Hello Ravenkeeper - Power cords are not in-wall rated and are usually not allowed due to Municipality fire codes. The length of teh power cord is approximately 5 feet. ^Cris

• It’s not long enough or a good idea. Purchase a power kit that easily adds a plug behind the tv without ever working with a live electrical wire.

• The cord is not meant to be in the wall. For in wall wiring, you have to buy an in-wall wiring kit
