• Hi Josh! The hardware you are referring to (BN96-53283A) are spacers, which may or may not be necessary when wall mounting the QN800A TV. If you are not wall mounting this TV, or there is no excessive gap when mounting, you will not need to utilize this part. ^Gina

• We used them in order to provide a spot that when we put the TV down it didn’t sit directly on the floor or on the shelf before mounting the TV to the wall mount.
