This SSD has a SATA interface, an msata is short for mini-sata. the SATA interface has been the standard for many years and just about all HDD (spinning) drives will have a SATA interface. If you have an msata interface on your laptop, Samsung does sell SSDs in that interface.

On a Table unscrew the Drive cover ... Touch the Metal part of the computer.... Undo the screws holding drive to pc ... pull it straight back about 1/8" and while you have it in hand write down name model and serial number .. put it back together and do a search with info
