That is a very loaded question because, when choosing an SSD one must consider what they are using that SSD for. In order to best simplify the answer for your question when you are going to try to put up the Samsung Evo 870 against the SanDisk ultra which is the same test drive I think you were asking about it would make the most sense to go with the Samsung 870 Evo SSD. I say this because Samsung provides drive management tools and cloning software that are very user-friendly and much more reliable than say, for example, the a Kronos cloning software that usually comes packaged with crucial solid-state drives. I have installed Samsung 860 solid-state drives as well as the 870 series on no less than five laptops within the past year and all of them seem to be serving the owners of those machines perfectly well. I even use Samsung 870 dries in my own personal computers. I hope that answers your question
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sandisk solid state drives are much, much slower, A real disappointment. They should come with a warning label.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say par, if both are realiable. Sandisk is cheaper you get slower writing speed, where you pay extra. You will get faster writing speed. I have used both and slow writing speed didnt harm me doing web browsing or copying files.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Jevenson, I can only give a one sided answer to your question. I did not research the Sandisk SSD before I purchased my SSD. I did however research the SAMSUNG brand deeply and I am positive that I made the correct purchase. I installed this SSD into a 2012 Mac mini computer and it is working great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Reviewers question was NOT addressed. "Drive Mgmt tools and cloning software" do NOT answer the questions we need to have discussed, such as processing time, etc etc. This is a junk review.
