From what I can see your motherboard has a m2 slot made for 16 GB PCIe® NVMe™ Intel® Optane™, Now Optane modules sold in 16GB and 32GB capacities are meant to work as a cache memory bridge between RAM and storage, allowing for faster data transfer between the memory, storage, and proccessor. From what I can see and have tested with similar nvme/m2 slots. You can use higher data modules just fine. You might have to turn of raid in settings or such to get it to work depending on your motherboards bios. You can use this slot as a harddrive
