Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's single sided - most Samsung SSDs are. The back on this one is empty and is used for heat dissipation. Generally when a laptop specifies a dual sided M.2 it means they can hold one, because a dual sided is necessarily thicker than a single sided, so a single sided, being thinner, will also fit. The only concern is that without the extra thickness to support it the drive might wobble a bit - many laptops or desktops that support double sided may come with a little pad you can use to provide that support. Do NOT just jam kleenex in there or such, you don't want to screw up the cooling.
