I installed one of these in both of my ps5s and was done in under 15 minutes for both. It's super easy. Here is a video explaining how to slide up the side, remove a screw and install the drive. There's literally no force needed you take the bottom plastic panel off then you take off the metal cover plate the screw and stand off are in the very back undo both of them put the standoff which is the Chrome little donut in the 80 position add a little bit of an angle match the long side and the short side wiggle it in till it clicks in you'll know when it does and then all you do is lightly press down till it touches the standoff put your screw in don't over torque just lightly tighten it then you're good to go. It's optional whether you want to put the metal cover plate back on or not I didn't on mine but you can on yours or not put the plastic panel back on format it you're good to go

You only need a small precision screw driver set with a Phillips type screw driver. There are several videos on YouTube you can reference. Just make sure to use a heat sink and also reinstall the internal cover to the expansion slot.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t see why they wouldn’t, but I’m sure they would charge you. It is way easier than you may think to do it yourself. There are great tutorials on the PlayStation website or on YouTube, just search upgrading PS5 memory.
