QuestionI have a Samsung top loading washer I bought in 2012. I have a real problem with rust on the machine. Sears nor Samsung would fix the problem without charging me. Neither would come out and look at the problem. Does the maintenance cover rust?

- Answer It depends on the load size and the balancing. I always add about 15 mins. to the time it states at the beginning of the cycle that seems to work for me.

- Answer During the entire cycle, the washing machine will blink with what cycle you have selected, the current state, (wash, rinse or spin) and the colon for the time (if it's above 1 hour). This includes if you have a delay end set, the washer will blink until the cycle is complete. Thanks for you question!

- Answer No I really miss that feature. It has a prewash cycle. No white cycle either. It washes well despite the missing cycles.

QuestionCan I fill the washer with water before I load the clothes? And if so, is there a time frame before I close the lid to begin the cycle? Will the water let out after the water had started, filled up but the lid isn't closed?

QuestionWhy does it make such noise right before the spin cycle?Right before the spin cycle it sounds so loud I can hear it in my kitchen from down the hall. I called my store they send out a replacement thinking there was something wrong with it. But the second one did the same thing. Is this normal? This is louder than my 8 year old washer.

- Answer Right after the rinse cycle, the pump will run to drain the water. You may hear the pump, or if there is something stuck in the pump like a coin, it will make a strange noise. Thanks for your question!

QuestionIs it okay to use the Affresh washer cleaners in this machine?I tried using one on the "normal" cycle, and the pod didn't fully dissolve. I know it has a self cleaning function, but is it okay to use one of the Affresh pods as well and if so, what would be the best setting to use it?

- Answer Those never work just pour in cleaning vinegar and baking soda in the bottom of the washer and run on the longest setting with the highest heat! Also pour vinegar in the fabric softener if you use that to get the build up out
