“Does the Washer have a light inside the drum, so you can see the cloths? I'm really disappointed with now knowing that my Washer does not have a light within the tub area, so you can see the cloths. I asked this question at the time of purchase and was told YES. However, I don't think that is the case. My new dryer has the light, why not the washer? Can you assist or should I contact Samsung?”

I TOTALLY AGREE with the writer, a light is ABSOLUTELY a wonderful accessory. My old 2010 Samsung F/L washer had it so I thought they all did. Low and behold NOT MY 2022 washer! The light is very helpful. I can see if too much sudsing , how it looks during clean washer mode, and it helps you find any socks that are stuck up on the top of the drum or on the sides. Even though you can see in and it’s silver you can still miss things. Actually my husband just did it yesterday with a sock on sidewall of the drum. Lol

However, the WA48J7700AW and other Top Load Washer models do not. I'm sorry to hear you were told otherwise. - Ms. Samsung

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure anyone makes a washing machine with a light in it! I'm not sure I'd want one. Electricity and water? Not a good mix! With a load washing you can't see through the glass top because of the Activewash basin. When you lift the top I can see just fine into the drum.
