• Yes you can. We do all the time and it works just fine. I would use a lower spin setting for the rugs' sake.

• You can if you want to stand there for 2 hours rebalancing it every 5-8 minutes. I'm washing 6 bath towels of standard size right now and have just started the 3rd hour of the adventure. This is a horrible machine.

• No they will get damaged and fall apart and leave a mess inside the washer

• I would not because if the bottom is rubber then it will fall apart during the wash and it will leave a mess inside the washer and might damage the motor if a little piece falls down iside
