As long as you are doing basic use of AutoCad, it'll be able to handle it decently, though I'd probably recommend something running an i7 a little more.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine came w. Windows 8, which has been updated to 8.1. It has an Intel Core i5 processor that runs Roadrunner Ultimate w. lightning-fast speed. I would check the compatibility of your CAD software w. 8.1. BTW 8.1 is the best improvement version since 1990, in my opinion. The only problem is Microsoft's sense of entitlement to interrupt whatever you are doing to do an update, sometimes resulting in a loss of any unsaved work. I'm not "techie" enough to know what an "autocad" is; so I would suggest a call to the developer of the software for the best answer as to compatability w. 8.1-Good Hunting!
