Greetings, If you will be using pods on the washer, you need to put them directly in the tub, and for powdered detergent, you need to remove the container and put powdered detergent directly into the main wash compartment. As for the powder detergent, I use a dual approach - I pour some powder into the designated tray and then add some directly into the drum with the clothes. However, I refrain from putting powder into the auto-detergent feeder. This routine has worked well for me and has effectively cleaned my laundry without any issues."
