Yes. Both the DeX pad and original dock work well with the Note 9. I use the DeX pad at my office and the DeX dock at home.

The Samsung specs and information all says the Note 9 should run at 1440 in Dex more when docked in this, but will only run at 1080 when connected via HDMI any other way. With this it still connects only at 1080p. You can use any HDMI adapter and hub and get the same performance. You likely have the parts in the garage or can get whatever you're missing for $15.
