No, as soon as you plug it in any device for the first time you will need to format it in the suitable format; I would suggest using device default settings.

Yes for smartphones. Pc is ntfs.

It will automatically format to your phone. I believe all you need to do is insert it into your computer and it'll be pre-formatted to Fat32 as well.

yes - i used it for a raspberry pi application formatted to Fat 32 prior to use in the Galaxy S7. Once installed in the phone it was reformatted.
