My wife and I have been researching these a lot over the last few days as our current oven just died. We want a gas range and electric oven. Per the Samsung lines you need to be careful if your looking for a gas range and electric oven. If it does not include the term "Flex Fuel" then it's either a gas range and gas oven or other models that are electric range and electric ovens. It looks like the term "Flex Duo" is referring to the oven's ability to be split into 2 separate ovens; it does not mean a gas range and electric oven unless it contains the term "Dual Fuel". The Samsung "5.8 cu. ft. Slide-in Dual Fuel Range with Flex Duo™ and Dual Door" (model NY58J9850WS) is a gas range and electric oven (splits into 2 ovens; flex duo). The Samsung "5.8 cu. ft. Slide-In Gas Flex Duo™ Range with Dual Door" (model NX58K9850SS) is gas range and gas oven (splits into 2 ovens; flex duo). They do not make it easy to understand this difference. When you read the spec on the Samsung site it does not come out and say gas oven for the "NX" model but what it does not say is electric oven or flex fuel.
