QuestionI am seeing pro reviews that suggest this runs hot to the point of sometimes throttling performance with extended "on" time. Comments?

- Answer Hello, For what I have been using it for, yes it can get quite hot but its because im running some heavy applications such as Fusion 360, Visual Studio, Spotify, and Visual Studio Code all at the same time so unless you are doing what I am doing, it should not heat up a lot. you can see in the image below, its average temperature is 48 degrees C and I am currently running Visual Studio Code, Spotify, Discord, and Visual Studio.

- Answer No, it doesn't include the pen! And be careful, it is not compatible with all pen brands, I have had to return the one I bought and look for one from Samsung...

QuestionCan the SSD be swapped for a larger one (I need 2 TB internal)?

- Answer Yes. I replaced the SSD with a 2TB Samsung SSD. IMPORTANT: You need a SSD with chips on only one side. This laptop is too thin to accommodate a SSD with chips on both sides. At the time I'm writing this, I was not able to find any 4TB SSDs that were single-sided, so I was limited to 2TB. QuestionThe pictures shown with this model show a USB-A port on the right hand side and an HDMI port on the left, but neither are mentioned anywhere in the specs. Would love to know if those ports are actually there. The "pro" version doesn't have them. Thanks!

QuestionWhat is the weight of this laptop? How long does the battery last for regular browsing? Does it get hot?

- Answer This laptop has the "U" designation on the CPU, which stands for "ultra low power". The CPU typically draws 10 watts or less, according to my monitoring software, and the total system power averages around 12 or 13 watts most of the time. I don't like fan noise. This system has a "Quite Mode" option, which I use all the time, and I set the processor management to keep the CPU at 75% power. With these settings, the system is still 10x as fast as my previous computer, and the fan rarely comes on, and when it does it comes on quietly. It does not get hot under normal use. The CPU is capable of hitting 45 watts for brief periods, and it could get hot and produce some irritating fan noise if you maxed out the performance a lot. I don't have empirical data on the battery, as I typically keep it plugged in, but it will last several hours. Also, it charges through the USB-C port, so you can recharge it from a portable power bank.

- Answer A USB-C charger will work with this computer. For faster recharge times, though I would recommend a 65Watt 3amp charger. The replacement model is EP-TA865.

- Answer Fingerprint is not required. They ask if you want to set this up when first setting everything up. In lieu of finger print you can use a password.
