• I would like to think so. My wife had the same issue with the first series, but nothing from the G2's.

• No, but i believe this largely depends on person to person since not everyone is allergic to having different materials in their ears. I would also suggest cleaning your earbuds after a few days or at least wiping them down, otherwise the grease from your skin and earwax will accumulate bacteria which will result in ear infection.
