• I would not remove the battery, the older Samsung J3 Luna Pro, was able to remove the battery. The Samsung J7 Galaxy Crown, is like the newer phones. If any battery issues, recommend sending the phone for repair.

• NO. You CAN remove the back and replace the battery, but it is difficult and voids your warranty. Instructions are available on the internet, but Samsung and TracFone both list the battery as non-replaceable.
