A:AnswerAfter much checking and repeated chats online with Samsung representatives. I have been told that there are NO MHL-HDMI adapters for the model of the Note 10.1/2014 Edition 16 GB (SM-P600ZKYXAR) that I purchased from Best Buy on the 14, April,2014. Since I cannot connect to the projector that means I have wasted nearly $600 on the tablet and dongle which I hoped I could use in the classroom as a teaching aid. Yet there are other models of the Note 10.1/2014 Edition 16 GB for which Samsung does make adapters!!! My conclusion cannot be stated here...
A:AnswerIf you pick up the Galaxy Tab USB connection kit, yes you can connect thumbsticks or harddrives. I have a 3TB network drive that I can access wirelessly from my Note as well.
A:AnswerWords With Friends does have a Trail and Full version available on the Android OS.
Ultimately, this would be best answered by the folks at Words With Friends, but the full version does prompt you to upgrade on the Android.
Thanks for your interest in Samsung products.

A:AnswerMy tablet lasts about 2-3 hours on video and perhaps 6 hours on emails and websites. It does show 100% charge in about 4 to 5 hours, and it is 14 months old.
A:AnswerThe note is a big cell phone and Internet capabilities (either data plan or wifi) the tablet won't make calls but has wifi capabilities. Other than that...screen size.
A:AnswerI had the same problem with a Samsung Galaxy player in the 5 inch model. What caused the problem with my battery was that I accidentally charged it with another Samsung branded phone charger (not the one it came with). Using the wrong charger did something to the battery and it would not take a charge when I tried charging it with the oem charger.
When I took it back to Bestbuy it was after a year had already gone past, so my one year warranty was gone. I was told that I would have to send it to Samsung for them to fix it. I think I remember that they also told me that even if it was still under warranty I would have had to send it to Samsung myself.
I did some research and found out that if you remove the battery it should reset the device so that the battery will than take a charge once reinstalled in the device. Many people said they tried this with their devices and it worked, however, my player had a non-removable battery. I even took it apart to look it over to see if there was any way to unhook the power from the battery. The power ribbon was very delicate and I was sure I would ruin it if I messed with it.
So I put it back together and ran the battery down as far as it would go until it would just auto shut down and I tossed it in a drawer and figured it was a write off. I couldn't afford to have Samsung fix it for me.
A few months went by and I wondered if the battery had bled off enough power to reset the device. When I plugged it in it said it was charging, but unlike before it actually started building up a charge on the battery. It has worked ever since that day, and I make sure to only charge it with the charger that came with it.
A:AnswerIf your ebook textbooks are available for Nook (Barnes & Noble) or Kindle (Amazon), you could install those free apps and use them to read the textbooks. See if there is an app available that will work for reading the specific ebook textbooks you need. Then find out it the app is available for the type of tablet you are getting. There are other ebook reading apps available and I don't know all the ebook textbook vendors. Some may have proprietary apps that only run on one type of tablet.
The Nook and Kindle apps are available for Android, iPad and Windows tablets. I read ebooks on both apps using an Android tablet.
A:AnswerTo my knowledge no, there is not a data/LTE version of this tablet out. There are apps you can download such as skype that will allow you to talk or message over the device though if you are connect to Wi-Fi.
A:AnswerYou should be able to, as you can access the amazon store through the tablet. I had several cd bought on amazon that downloaded without any problem to my Note 2014
A:AnswerThe operating system for android is made by Google. In order to do the update, Samsung has to make the OS update ready for the tablet. You should have the new OS within 2-3 weeks. If you bought a google nexus tablet, you would already have the new OS, but it just takes a little time for it to get released to Samsung, then they have to release it to you.
