• The Note series phones do work abroad if you have the unlocked version. Drop a Globe or Smart sim card in and you're good to go. 4G LTE will work fine in the Philippines however due to international band allocation the 5G capability will not work in other countries if you buy your Note 20 phone in the USA. The US 5G capable phones are universal only for the 5G bands in the US. Other countries have different bands allocated for their 5G service. If you're fine using 4G LTE then the Note 20 series will work abroad as per my experience using previous Notes 3, 4, 5, 9, and 10 plus.

• I know Samsung has a credit through them for extras or accessories. But unlocked US Note 20 ultra is supposed to work with any sim card.
