Yeppers. This is half of the reason I love unlocked phones. Understand though that some carriers use different networks and different SIM cards. There are versions of this phone (EU variants, I believe) that are "dual SIM" meaning that they can use both of the major variants of SIM card and are compatible with both networks. Unlocked phones are kind of a new thing here in the US where we allow carriers to monopolize the airwaves and essentially build high walls around their particular flavor of service/network, but other parts of the world have been past this for a while. We let people pile cash as high as they can, which arguably accomplishes nothing for anyone, then the bureaucracy protects their money all day to the detriment of the people.
