It doesn't need to be "charged", per se. Since this pen doesn't use Bluetooth it doesn't have a rechargeable battery. What it does have is an inductive coil near the tip, which draws power from the electromagnetic field emanating from the behind the screen of your phone. In other words, the pen is being "charged" with just enough power to do what it needs to do whenever it's near your phone screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The S Pen for the S21 and S21 Ultra does not have Bluetooth capabilities, thus it does not require charging. The S Pen for the Note series phones, as my Note 20, can do air gestures using Bluetooth built into their S Pen and it does need charging. However, as with the S21 and Ultra, using the pen with the phone as writing and the like it does not use Bluetooth, so for those uses only it does not require charging.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No charging required as there's nothing to charge with this pen.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As far as I know, it's charged primarily when you keep the pen in storage. It actually uses a super capacitor, and takes ~40 seconds to fully charge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't need to charge it at all. It has a sort of passive power generation when you press the button. And the screen detects everything else. There is no "battery" inside to charge.
