No, I did use it and had to call 4 different times in 12 months because they kept on dropping off the credit. They use any change in your phones as an excuse to drop your credit. I finally called them on my new Spectrum phone and pointed out that they were about to lose us as a customer ( 5 lines with them ) it took an hour and speaking to the supervisor to ge them to honor their promises. I received 9 months credit plus a " settlement " of an additional 10 months. ($420.00 of the promotional $800.00) plus aprox 4 hours of my time I paid off the phone and went to Best Buy 3 days later and bought another S23 ULTRA outright, I will never buy another phone on a payment plan of any kind through AT&T again. If my bill doesn't stay the same each month now, I will change carriers.
