According to Samsung's website, it has 5G and LTE bandwidth connectivity (see attached photo) but it may vary depending on region or service provider. From my experience, it will automativally switch depending on cell tower capabilities. For instance, if you are in the city, it may automatically switch to 5G if 5G capable towers are available in that area and vice versa only on 4G in the rural areas where 4G towers might be the only towers available. Despite all this, you can still override a 5G connection by installing a force 4G app from the Play Store where you'll only connect to 4G if that's what you want.
