Depends on your budget. If you have enough to get a phone, then I suggest buy one. Most carriers are offering free apples & samsung galaxy phones for free now for a limited time. You can even get some money back on your old phone on a trade-in. Carriers offers payment plans & options where your next phone will be upgraded for free or a small charge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With electronics it can be tricky. You can by brand new and have lot's of problems or used and have no problems. I have a sony dvd home theater system that i bought open box over 30yrs ago with not one problem ever. Never been in a repair shop ever. Too anwser your question i bought this phone for my husband open box(not tech savy) get's the job done. Ask reason for return and check price could be new person may not have like something minor and returned it. Get warranty plan incase you don't like performance to return. I personally am not going to pay full market for something that will change in about 6 months-year. Now it's time to upgrade to something else but that's just me. If you are using it for work or school then I would definitely upgrade for quality.
