Yes, I believe it is for any where, I left the tag at home and went to another state for several days, it tracks well

Yes, as long as there's a nearby Samsung device, it'll relay it's location back to you. It works via the Samsung network so any Samsung device will update the tags location.

You can track it in any place, but only if there are people using samsung smartphones around.
