Greetings, Terry... I had the same question as you, so I surfed on over to the Samsung website and here's what I found out. According to the Samsung website (https://www.samsung.com/us/tablets/tab-a7/compare/?device-1=galaxy-tab-a7&device-2=galaxy-tab-a7-lite&device-3=undefined), the new Galaxy Tab A7 Lite can accept an external MicroSD up to 1TB. Please feel free to check out the entire specifications at the above URL yourself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Although the tablet is expandable up to 1TB, it will not allow you to store apps and downloads within those apps, rendering the external storage useless for people who would like to download tons of content from streaming sites like netflix, dsiney+ or amazon prime. My intention for this tablet was to replace my son's Amazon Kid's Fire Tablet which also has a 32gb storage capacity. I ended up returning the A7 Lite 32gb tablet and getting the A7 Lite 64gb version so that I at least have more storage to download programs for my child to watch during long car trips.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With a bit of searching you can enable USB debugging. From there you can create a partition on the SD to be used as internal storage, from which you can install apps and app data to.

Consider paying the extra amount for the 64GB version - you'll get more internal storage and additional RAM for better responsiveness and more open apps

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.SIM cards are for cellular wireless connectivity. This tablet is not cellular capable. If you are asking can you add storage via an SD card, then YES you can. This tablet will accept upto a 1TB SD card.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you did not, I have the same app on the same tablet, and it does NOT work on this tablet! It works fine on the Galaxy A32 5G with Android 13, the Galaxy 50 with Android 11, but it will NOT work on this tablet with Android 12, or 13!
