“Can the battery in the Galaxy Tab E 9.6 be replaced? I bought a Nook HD in 2013. It was exactly what I wanted, and there was nothing wrong with it, except after two years the battery would no longer take a charge. I took it to B&N to have the battery changed, and found out they would not, and could not change the battery. I checked around, and EVERY technician I talked to said it could not be changed. B&N did not tell those of us buying the Nook that after two years we would have to throw it away because the battery could not be replaced. I am trying to avoid that again. Although, I am being told that "everyone" is now making electronic tablets, that cost so much, as throwaways. Sales people act as though $200.00/$300.00 is nothing. I can assure you that on a fixed income that is NOT an insignificant amount of money.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The reason no one replaces these batteries, is that the batteries are often embedded directly onto the mother board of these tablets. Parts on the mother board aren't swappable, if they were to be fixed, the WHOLE board would be replaced. Often times this isn't the cost efficient solution, so the whole tablets are just replaced instead.
