• they sell protection plans for about 85.00 a year in case something breaks & can be replaced. Nothing by the month was mentioned to us when we bought a table hope this helps

• Best buy does offer insurance but it's not 9.99 a month. You would pay for the year and it covers everything but I'm not 100% sure if it covers stolen.

• You can buy 3rd party insurance but its not worth the premium. Its cheaper to get the extended service plan best buy offers.
