You can use up to a 1 TB MicroSD Card in this tablet. This is in the product description on the Samsung website. Now this size SD card is around $500, so I only installed a 512gb MicroSD card in my S6 tablet and it works great. I bought a cheap generic brand one and so far it works fine, so I don't think brand matters all that much unless that is something that you really care about. ,

Of course, Samsung cards are fine if purchased directly from them or a reputable store like BestBuy. Please ignore advice to buy any old generic SD cards! Even SD cards that look like authentic brand-name ones are often fakes - many times just 8gb even tho they are supposed to be 128, 256, 512, etc!! That big auction site we all know, and that other site that's the highest volume sales store in the world, are notorious for selling fake cards. Buy brand name, and ONLY from reputable major retailers like BestBuy, etc. Even cards sold at major dept stores and drug stores are often counterfeit, though they and their packaging look truly authentic! Fakes can cause severe data problems and ruined video/photo shoots. It's theft from your wallet, really. There are videos available online showing how to identify fakes.

While the tablet can take up to 1TB, and you are going to shell out a pretty penny for capacity in a small package, the brand depends on your needs. if you want capacity for convenience and don't care if it retains it, then go with the biggest garbage you can afford. If you are going to be needing this to hold things reliably, then go for better quality, even a better quality Samsung SD is going to be better than the lower quality of the same size Samsung SD. If you are going to be swapping 4k Video off and onto this card, you need a beast of a card, and it is going to cost, the exchange is that it will actually do what you need. A class 10/ U3 /v60 SD card is what you want for 4k or 8k videos, and those get big, so 256GB+ for extra storage (https://www.sdcard.org/developers/overview/speed_class/). I usually go as close to double the device capacity as I can, so that I can store all of my work documents at my fingertips when I have a 2 am call, I need to take from the road, plane, boat, or moon.
