• Yes. Samsung has a partnership with Microsoft. I use Word, Excel and PowerPoint on my device.

• Not directly but it will go to the Google Play (or Samsung?) App download page if you try to open an Office document, so you can quickly install the programs you need.

• No, but you can get it from the Google Play store. It will try to open xlsx files and notice it isn't installed and go there. They may also be available from the Samsung store. The Microsoft office apps are also supposed to be Dex compatible so you can use them in that mode.
