• Most use tablets that are programed for their service. Verizon at one point, could add a sim card to the SD card slot, but you would want to check with them to be sure.

• I just asked myself this question... From what I've read you can bring any unlocked device to your cell carrier...I'm going to take mine to AT&T and add it so I can use it for messaging and calls..
