Your battery life is going to depend on so many things: how bright you make your display, whether or not your Bluetooth is on, and if you have your location on. And much of this can occur whether or not you're actively using the device. Then, there are resource consuming apps that will add to the strain and drain of your battery. The battery should outlast the hands-on time for most people, and, as with most electronic devices, the battery will lose it's optimal performance after a few hundred hours. My middle schooler plays Roblox and streams spotify for 6-9 hours a day, and the battery only loses 2/3 of it's charge. I also keep FT location tracking on in case the device is lost or stolen. Based on these factors, the device-when brand new and running on moderately heavy usage will last 15-16 hours consecutively.
