• A:Answer Nope. S7 uses micro usb and this is a usb-c connection. Works with galaxy s8 though.

• A:Answer Answering my own question. I saw on Samsung's site that it is supposed to be compatible with s5e so I took a chance and bought it. It works as advertized in Dex mode. If not in Dex mode you will have no audio if hdmi is connected. At first it didn't seem to want to charge either unless in Dex mode, but that seems to be working now. Wanted to hook headphones up to the USB 3.0 port but haven't figured that out yet.
