Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a DIY kit available on AMZ but my hands are not steady enough to handle the tiny screws and stuff. It is packaged with the tools for less than $16. Has Best Buy started changing this battery since the last response?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Based on my understanding, no, you can't replace the battery yourself. The battery for this device is installed and only replaceable by Samsung. Of course, that's only accurate at the time of my answer. Perhaps there is someone out there making a DIY kit with a replacement battery(with the same capacity and/or larger) and the tools to open up the watch, but it's still relatively new with a small install base, so I'm not making any bets.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don't believe so. But if you pay for the warranty and start to notice the battery not holding a charge, they will give you a new one. At least from what the Best Buy guy told me. Buy the warranty!
