Jerry, the difference between BT and LTE is that bluetooth you connect it tk your phone and works while its near your phone. But LTE it shares your phone number and you can leave it at home and stilll make/take calls, text while out and about.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the LTE version is purchased, is it still Bluetooth compatible should you wish to use it?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With Bluetooth it pairs and works with your phone when its in the vicinity of the phone only. In order to have a stand alone watch, you need the LTE version, which your carrier will assign it a separate phone number which is seamlessly connected to your phone’s number. I love it because I can leave my phone behind and take calls, etc. on the watch when I’m out walking, etc.

And just like on a phone, you can manage your mobile network settings so that they suit your needs. The Bluetooth version must be connected to a phone. ^Elizabeth

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bluetooth is a wireless connection to a cell, phone, tablet, speakers or other Bluetooth-enabled devices. May be required for a watch to exchange data between Samsung companion apps on phone. LTE is a cellular network that can be used to text to make calls, receive emails.
