After 6 full days of working with multiple Verizon agents my IMEI # was finally added to there network. There high level tech team had to manually add it but mission accomplished. I am afraid there are many Galaxy 4 customers out there whose provider is Verizon with the same problem. This is not a Samsung issue but a Verizon issue as one of my Verizon techs told me. Unfortunately it has caused many poor reviews on this watch. Wish I could update my review.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had my watch since September 10th and have hours of chat sessions and a visit to a Verizon Corporate store. Unfortunately you have to get the right agent at Verizon that actually understands you and your needs. I finally chatted with Jason yesterday morning and he acknowledged that Verizon had dropped the ball by not adding all the new IMEI numbers. He escalated my case and my number should be added within 24 to 48 hours. Currently you have to escalate to a level 2 tech. Most of the techs respond by saying your watch isn't compatible with the Verizon Network and they need more information. I can't even count how many times I had to give my IMEI #. Escalate your case and make sure you have a case # or ID # from Verizon. I am still waiting to see if I will finally get my number added. Fingers crossed. I only gave my watch a 1 star review due to this issue. Hopefully I will be able to revise my review soon or I will be sadly returning my watch. I also talked to Brenda a Samsung representative and I did say talked which is the way we should communicate certain issues. She was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful as well. Good luck to you and everyone in the same boat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have already replied once to this post but I did want to update as I see no easy way to update my 1 star review of my Galaxy 4 LTE 44 mm watch. When I first answered this question I was still in the process of getting my IMEI # added to Verizon's database which did finally occur after almost a week of back and forth chats with Verizon. This is a Verizon problem and not a Samsung issue. I would change my 1 star rating to at least a 4 star only holding back a 5 star due to not having enough apps available yet first and foremost Google Voice. My watch does overheat when making a call using LTE and not Bluetooth. No problem with a Bluetooth call. Hopefully this is a hardware issue that can be fixed with an update. My battery will last longer than a day but I was prepared to charge it every day anyway since I knew people with Apple watches that charged there watch every day. Beautiful watch that will only get better.
