Hi Js, thanks for taking the time out of your hectic day to ask us your question about the Samsung Galaxy Watch6. The Galaxy Watch6 can record an electrocardiogram (ECG) for 30 seconds similar to a standard single-lead ECG. The ECG Monitor app also checks the recording for signs of Atrial Fibrillation—a common form of irregular heart rhythm. The ECG app is not intended for users with known arrhythmias other than atrial fibrillation or users under 22 years old. Users should not interpret or take clinical action based on the device output without consultation of a qualified healthcare professional. The ECG app is not intended to replace traditional methods of diagnosis or treatment. However, you can review your ECG readings as daily, weekly, and monthly charts, or access detailed reports for each measurement. You can share the PDF report of your ECG recording with your healthcare provider using Samsung Health Monitor app on your compatible Galaxy smartphone. If you think of any other questions for us or if you would like further assistance, feel free to reach out to Samsung Support at your leisure. Thank you for being a cherished Samsung customer. - Debra
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you have to manually do it as it doesn'tjust check at random if that is what you are asking. Obviously, they give a health warning to never use this in place of a health professional.
