Bluetooth enabled devices or watches in this case require communication between their paired smartphones within short distances to make and/or receive calls and/or text messages. They rely on the Bluetooth connection in order to be fully functional devices. LTE enabled devices are ones that utilize a cellular network to access the internet, to make and/or receive calls and/or messages without the need of being paired to a smartphone.
