A:AnswerI have had the 2016 and the 2017. In appearance they seem pretty identical. I want to saw the color is slightly different. But I never put the two next to each other so I cant confirm that. But I will tell you in the 2015, and 2016 VR headsets I always had issues with fogging up the eye pieces and this year I have had no issues. I am not sure if there was a small design change I cant seem to notice. But the fogging has been resolved for me
