- Answer Geek Squad certified Laptop comes with 90 days Geek Squad Warranty. There is no warranty from Samsung. Given the expertise (lack of) shown by Geek Squad in refurbishing this, I would not expect much from it. Reading Geek Squad reviews on BBY site will make you shudder at the thought of having them work on your laptop.

- Answer Recovery discs are not included, but this laptop (and all models that include Windows Vista, 7 or 8) feature pre-installed software utilities that allow owners to create backup discs at any time.

QuestionBattery doesn't charge more than 80%My laptops battery doesn't charge more than 80%. When It charges to 80% I get this message : "80% available (plugged in, not charging)." I have connected to the power for more than 12 hours and still having power connected.

QuestionSamsung Repair CenterI've bought this laptop for my Dad as a gift, but it has a line on it's display. They did not repair the problem and sold it for luck as I, because I can't take it back to store, I'm in vacation in my Dad's homeland. I can't use my 90 days warranty, because I'm going to stay until autumn. We have Samsung Repair Center here, maybe they can assist me?

- Answer I posted a link to Samsung's website for all their drivers support. Check it out under the Ratings page. They were able to fix a lot of the issues including the wireless issues. Also, there is a user manual on the link.

- Answer It's usually 14 days for computers and tablets. You also need a receipt or order # to return/exchange them.

- Answer While it could be any number of issues, this particular laptop is notorious for having wifi issues. Many of the refurbished units still have the same issue.

- Answer Yes - you can. I am typing on this very machine at the moment running Windows 7. In order to get the correct drivers for it -go to Samsung's site - and download the drivers for OTHER 14 or 15 inch Windows 7 computers. Over the phone on Monday, a Samsung rep told me how to do this The machine runs fine on Win 7.

QuestionDoes this laptop (Samsung GCRF-NP520U4C-A01UB) use the Intel Centrino Advanced N 6235 WiFi card with the WiFi problems? Is this fixed?The Samsung 14" Geek Squad Certified Refurbished Laptop 3rd Generation i5, 8GB Mem, 750GB HD. Can you confirm what WiFi Adapter and driver is being used? There have been numerous reported issues with that WiFi Card that the laptop originally came with. Thank you!

- Answer I just received this laptop in the mail and I can confirm that there is a problem with the WiFi. Every few minutes it would lose connectivity and then actually crash the computer and restart when I would try to re-establish connection. After plugging in an ethernet cable, I was able to fix it by updating the driver and downloading the Intel wireless management software. So far it has not happened again. After that problem is solved, it seems like a decent laptop.
