“Does this still qualify for the Samsung factory warranty of 5 years or 1,200 TB TBW? I believe that the drive would have to get registered with Samsung under my name. Thank You”

• With just the quickest of google searches you will find that the samsung warranty is non-transferable. Since this is a refurb drive it isn't transferable by definition. But who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and the last person never registered it so you'll be able to snake the warranty for yourself.
