The monitor is thoroughly tested to ensure that it works, there are programs that Geek Squad uses to ensure that the screen has no dead pixels and that it will act as expected, The monitor will have everything that it needs to work (in this case the stand and a power cable) however it could be missing any non-functional accessories like the box, instructions, any connection cables (if this includes them, I don't think that this particular monitor does... but anyway,) The monitor could have cosmetic damage on it, like scratches on the back or the bezel, there *shouldn't* be any scratches on the screen,
