• No, the rear speakers must be connected with the included wires to the rear speaker module which itself has a wireless connection to the SB. This allows you to place it in the back of the room and connect the speakers to it without having wires go all the way across the room from the TV.

• The rear speakers are wirless to the sou dbar, but are wired to their "transmitter"/power source. Only wore for the subwoffer is the power source.
