• A:Answer Hi Brock, The HW-S50B Soundbar can be controlled by your Samsung TV remote. Follow these steps for setting that feature up. 1. Turn Off the Soundbar. 2. Push up and hold the WOOFER button for 5 seconds. Each time you push the WOOFER button up and hold it for 5 seconds, the mode switches in the following order: “Off-TV Remote” (Default mode), “Samsung-TV Remote”, “All-TV Remote”. The middle LED on the top of the soundbar will blink 1x in Cyan when it's setup for a Samsung TV remote. ~Samsung Solutions

Q: QuestionDoes this sound bar mute the volume automatically after 30 seconds of no sound? I read that in someone’s review of the 5.0ch model. They said the sound comes on again five seconds after you play something with sound. Can that feature be disabled?

• A:Answer I fixed the sound delay problem when the tv is turned on. Go to settings- sound- expert settings - hdmi arc mode. I turned that off from auto and my sound delay dropped from 15 secs to 5 secs. I have crystal 7000 tv and s50b soundbar

• A:Answer Hi PJ, Follow the instructions below on how to set your Spectrum Remote up to control your Soundbar. Make sure that your TV speaker is set to External Speaker. 1. Turn Off the Soundbar. 2. Push up and hold the WOOFER button for 5 seconds. Each time you push the WOOFER button up and hold it for 5 seconds, the mode switches in the following order: “Off-TV Remote” (Default mode), “Samsung-TV Remote”, “All-TV Remote”. The LED indicator status changes each time the mode is changed. Refer to page 17 of the full manual for more detailed instructions. ~Samsung Solutions

Q: QuestionI'm having serious audio / video sync issues. There is a noticeable audio delay since I installed this soundbar. I've adjusted the audio settings on the Samsung TV with no improvement. What options do I have to fix this?

• A:Answer Hello CableGuy, Press the SOUND CONTROL button (which looks like a gear) on the provided Soundbar remote until you get to SYNC. From there you can use the UP/DOWN buttons of the remote to increase/decrease the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact Samsung Customer Support for step-by-step troubleshooting. • A:Answer Hello Nickname, The major differences between the HW-S60B Soundbar and the HW-S50B Soundbar are: HW-S60B is a 5.0 Channel Soundbar with 200W of total power, the ability to connect using Wi-Fi and connect to the SmartThings App. The HW-S60B also has Alexa built-in, the ability to play Dolby Atmos content and Samsung's Active Voice Amplifier feature The HW-S50B is a 3.0 Channel Soundbar with 140W of total power, it cannot be connected using Wi-Fi or SmartThings. The HW-S50B Soundbar cannot use Alexa, is not Dolby Atmos compatible and doesn't feature Samsung's Active Voice Amplifier feature. ~Samsung Solutions
