A:Answer I disagree with Samsung’s response. The speaker works great as an acoustic (electric) guitar amp. It’s just like plugging into any PA system. I used the 1/4” input and adjusted the echo for a delay-like effect. The MX-T50 actually sounded better and much clearer than a small 300W PA I previously used.
I tried plugging in my electric via effects box and it worked but not as good. One problem with the speaker as far as use as a PA is that you only get two live inputs: the microphone input and one other selectable input: Bluetooth, an audio in, or the card reader.
Without some kind of 1/4” 2-to-1 adapter, you will not be able to plug-in the guitar and a microphone. (Maybe in this case, a Bluetooth mic would work) I did make this work and guitar volume needed to be turned down to get mic volume balanced. Also, you will need to accept same echo level on mic & guitar.
Because of the sound quality, the MX-T50 might work for playing a very small venue. And works great for backyard entertaining.
I just ordered a second and am interested in how things will work when paired via Bluetooth or connected using RCA Ins/Outs.
Good luck.
